Erik Sondèn is Head <strong>of</strong> European <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Client Origination<br />
and Advisory. Erik has more than 20 years experience <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />
major European property markets as a lender, principal and<br />
investment banker. Prior to joining Société Générale, Erik has<br />
held senior positions with Deutsche Bank, Jones Lang Lasalle,<br />
Cushman & Wakefield and Nordea. Erik is a graduate from <strong>the</strong><br />
Stockholm School <strong>of</strong> Economics.<br />
Arne M. Sorenson is Executive Vice President, Chief Financial<br />
Officer, and President, Continental European Lodging.<br />
Mr. Sorenson is responsible for lodging operations and<br />
development in <strong>the</strong> continental European region as well as<br />
<strong>the</strong> company’s finance, treasury and financial planning and<br />
analysis functions. Previously, Mr. Sorenson was Senior Vice<br />
President, Business Development for Marriott International,<br />
Inc. He was responsible for pursuing strategic growth<br />
relationships, including partnerships and acquisitions, across<br />
all lodging brands on a worldwide basis. This included an<br />
active leadership role in international strategy and expansion,<br />
joint venture activity and mergers and acquisitions.<br />

Csaba Spottle is <strong>the</strong> acquisition manager Central & Eastern<br />

and American Markets. He holds an MBA in International<br />

degree in Contracting and Construction Management from<br />

Gayle Starr is Senior Vice President <strong>of</strong> Capital Markets at AMB<br />
Property Corporation and its nine co-investment funds. With<br />
21 years <strong>of</strong> experience in all aspects <strong>of</strong> industrial property<br />
ownership including development and construction, property<br />
management, leasing, asset management, finance and<br />
dispositions, she now oversees all secured and unsecured<br />
debt internationally and domestically. Averaging 10<br />
financing deals annually and responsible for over 30 lender<br />
relationships, she designs and structures complex debt<br />
transactions.<br />
Frank started his career at Deutsche Bank AG, Germany. He<br />
has more than 11 years experience in commercial real estate<br />
financing. He is responsible for <strong>the</strong> banks first development<br />
finance in Russia. Before Frank joined <strong>the</strong> CEE team he<br />
was Head <strong>of</strong> Business Development Europe and Senior<br />
Risk Manager for <strong>the</strong> bank’s US, UK and Asian lending<br />
business. Prior to that at Hypo <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Bank International<br />
predecessor HVB he was involved in <strong>the</strong> bank’s commercial<br />
real estate lending senior risk management and in structuring<br />
closed end real estate funds for HVB’s private clients.<br />

After a distinguished career as a resort developer in <strong>the</strong> U.S.<br />
(building more than 4,000 homes and creating such resorts<br />
as <strong>the</strong> billion-dollar Monarch Beach development in Sou<strong>the</strong>rn<br />
California), Stein moved to Spain where he co-founded <strong>the</strong><br />
Spanish real estate company, MedGroup. In 2001, he created<br />
The Stein Group Hotels specializing in owning and operating<br />
small, luxury hotels. The group has 18 hotels in Europe, is a<br />
partner with Sol Melia in Luxury Lifestyle Hotels & Resorts and<br />
publishes LUX magazine.<br />
Noah Steinberg, 38, is <strong>the</strong> chairman and chief executive <strong>of</strong>ficer<br />
<strong>of</strong> Wallis <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong>. An American citizen, he has worked<br />
in Hungary with <strong>the</strong> Wallis Group since 1990. In his current<br />
position since 1999, he was responsible for establishing<br />
Wallis <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> and oversees <strong>the</strong> group’s investment<br />
and development businesses, its <strong>of</strong>fice, retail and industrial<br />
projects and its real estate services portfolio with an annual<br />
turnover in excess <strong>of</strong> 100 million Euros. Mr. Steinberg is<br />
a graduate <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Woodrow Wilson School <strong>of</strong> Public and<br />
International Affairs at Princeton University (BA), and <strong>the</strong><br />
Diplomatic Academy <strong>of</strong> Vienna in Austria (MA).
