Patron represents leading U.S. and European institutions. Focusing on investments in European companies and assets associated with property related activities. Began his career in 1993 with Lehman Brothers. Holds an MBA degree from University of Chicago and a BSc degree from New York University School of Business. Dr. Rolf E. Breuer was Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bank AG from 2002 to May, 2006. He was Spokesman of the Board of Managing Directors and Chairman of the Group Executive Committee of Deutsche Bank from 1997 to 2002, following 12 years of membership on the Board of Managing Directors. He is a member of the Supervisory Board of E.ON AG and holds a non-executive directorship at Landwirtschaftliche Rentenbank. Rolf E. Breuer has a doctorate in Law from the University of Bonn. ALESSANDRO BRONDA head of research ABERDEEN PROPERTY INVESTORS ROBERT (“ROB”) BROOK managing director KENMORE GROUP Alessandro is Head of European Research based in Brussels. He is responsible for various European research activities including forecasting property returns across various sectors and city regions. Prior to joining Aberdeen, Alessandro was Head of European Research for the Catella Property Group. Before joining Catella he worked for Security Capital, a major American REIT, where he assisted in the investment decisionmaking process through research. Prior to taking up the position with Security Capital in 1998 he worked for Eurostat in Luxembourg and for the Ifo Institute for Economic Research in Munich. Alessandro holds a Masters in Economics from the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich and speaks four languages fluently. Rob graduated from Bristol Polytechnic in 1991 joining Clive Lewis & Partners, then became Director in charge of UK business space investment at Colliers Erdman Lewis. Whilst there he specialised in development finance and secondary portfolio management. Rob left in 1999 to join Kenmore to run the London office. In 2003 he initiated Kenmore’s programme into Europe by purchasing Euro 25m in the industrial/warehouse property market in the Ile de France region. He was appointed Head of Europe in 2005 and continued to expand Kenmore’s profile with acquisitions in Belgium, Holland, Germany, Finland, Norway and Sweden and established an office in Paris in August 2004. In his current role, he is responsible for RREEF’s real estate fund operations in Europe (ex-Germany) and for managing the real estate funds of RREEF/DB Real Estate focused on high yield real estate investment on a global basis. Since assuming responsibility for this business in 1994, Mr. Brush has supervised REOG’s involvement in transactions with an enterprise value in excess of $20 billion.. Marie Bucht is the CEO of Newsec Advice, which is the daughter company within the Newsec Group that performs a large variety of analysis and valuation services. Mrs. Bucht has worked with social and property economy related analysis for the past 13 years, and has been active in Newsec the last seven years. Mrs. Bucht has in her role as an analyst been involved in developing a number of unique models for property analysis. Marie is also editor for Newsecs Nordic Report. Marie is responsible for acquisition advisory services for international investors. Marie holds a degree in business administration.
RODNEY BYSH director, property business development HENDERSON GLOBAL INVESTORS MEHMET (“EMRE”) CAMLIBEL ceo SOYAK AS Rodney Bysh heads up the European Property Business Development team and is based in Frankfurt, where he is working on expanding the range of investment products for European investors. He is a member of the European Executive Team of Henderson Global Investors and vice chairman of the supervisory board of the “Warburg-Henderson Kapitalanlagegesellschaft für Immobilien mbH”, a joint venture of M.M. Warburg and Henderson Global Investors which develops and distributes “Spezialfonds” for European Investors. Rodney also sits on a number of other fund boards including the European Outlet Mall Fund. Graduated from Yildiz Technical University Istanbul as a Civil Engineer in 1992, Emre Çamlibel worked for STFA in 1992. He continued his career in US, where he received an MS degree from MIT in 1994, prior to his work at Kennedy & Rossi and Walsh Brothers in Massachusettes, USA. He returned to Turkey in 1998 and started to work for Soyak, where he has held a number of executive roles. Emre has been the General Manager of Soyak Yapi since 2001 and was also appointed as a Board member of the company in 2004. JEAN-LOUIS CHARON président CITY STAR PROPERTY INVESTMENT PIERRE CHERKI managing director RREEF In 2005, he set up City Star Private Equity, in partnership with Laurence Albertini (buy-out of non listed companies). He also set up Nexstar Capital in partnership with LBO France (Property Investment Fund). He organized the LBO on Nexity, of which he integrated the Directoire then the supervisory board. He was Managing Director of the group CGIS, the property department of Vivendi Universal. Jean-Louis Charon began his career at the French Ministry of Industry, as Head Officer for Foreign Investments, then joined GE Medical Systems, and became Managing Director of GEC Thomson Airborne Radars. Mr. Cherki is a Managing Director of RREEF based in London. He is responsible for REOF’s activities in France and Central and Eastern Europe. Since joining Deutsche Bank, he has completed above 15 transactions with a total investment value of above $2 billion. These transactions include the acquisition of SELEC, a French subsidiary of EDF with large residential property holdings, the sale and leaseback of a commercial portfolio 23 properties in France and the investment in a number of development joint ventures in the Czech Republic, Poland, and Russia. Mr. Cherki joined Deutsche Bank in 1997. He received a B.A. in Management and Economics and an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University. He was also Managing Director of Credifarma and “Lavoro Servizi Previdenziali”. He worked in Paris for the “Banque de la Société Financiere Européenne”. In 2005 he has been awarded the European Properties Italian Conference prize. Matteo is an Executive Director at Lehman Brothers where he works in the real estate investment banking team, covering Southern Europan countries. Matteo has more than ten years of experience in investment banking, and seven exclusively focused on real estate, he has taken part to some of the main European real estate transactions, and he has recently coordinated the structuring, funding and equity placement of Italian F.I.P. fund. Prior to focus on real estate, Matteo was part of the “Italian Privatisation Task Force”, coordinating some among the major Italian privatisation transactions. KERIM CIN managing partner COLLIERS INTERNATIONAL ISMAEL CLEMENTE director DEUTSCHE BANK Kerim is the founder and Managing Partner of Colliers International (Turkey), the Turkish affiliate of the premier global real estate advisory company. Kerim has been active in different capacities in Colliers, such as owner/broker or owner/advisor for the delivery of brokerage and advisory services to clients. He also oversaw the establishment and management of Colliers International offices in Baku, Azerbaijan and Almaty, Kazakhstan during 2002-2003, as the Managing Partner of the joint venture firm which owned these offices. Kerim earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California in July 1995. Mr. Clemente is a Director of RREEF responsible for investments in Spain and Portugal. He has completed several transactions with an aggregate value in excess of 1.2 billion euro in the commercial, hospitality and residential sectors, most of which have already been subsequently realized. He has also advised two telecommunication companies in Spain and Portugal on the reorganization of their property portfolios. Mr. Clemente joined Bankers Trust (now part of Deutsche Bank) in 1996 from the Spanish law firm Garrigues Andersen. He holds degrees in Law and in Economics & Business Administration from ICADE, is a teacher at Instituto de Empresa (IE) and a member of the Madrid Council of ULI.
