Noel focuses on real estate financing activities with special<br />

emphasis on deal structuring. He is currently advising clients<br />

on financing property investments using innovative structures<br />

to maximise leverage and optimise taxation. Over <strong>the</strong> last<br />

five years, Noel has acted as financial adviser to a range <strong>of</strong><br />

high pr<strong>of</strong>ile property developers and Irish investors on a range<br />

1997. Before launching Paref he was Advisor to <strong>the</strong> French<br />

government for <strong>the</strong> industrial development <strong>of</strong> French North<br />

Africa. Economic advisor for <strong>the</strong> implementation <strong>of</strong> water<br />

resources management and pollution control agencies in<br />

France. Director at <strong>the</strong> Ministry <strong>of</strong> Finance. Director at Société<br />

Générale, in charge <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> treasury and <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> implementation<br />

<strong>of</strong> a computerized branch planning and cost accounting<br />

system. General manager <strong>of</strong> Fic<strong>of</strong>rance. Consultant on direct<br />

home banking, for Banque Indosuez and Société Générale.<br />

Chairman <strong>of</strong> Caisse Centrale de Crédit Immobilier. Chairman<br />

Hervé Manet, 49 ans, Deug Sciences Economiques à Lyon<br />

en Irak puis Directeur Général Ile-de-France. Il a rejoint<br />

Bouwfonds Marignan en 1999 en tant que Directeur Général<br />

et a été nommé Président du groupe en 2002. Egalement<br />

la Chambre Syndicale de la Fédération des Promoteurs<br />

Ramsey Mankarious is Chief Executive Officer <strong>of</strong> Cedar Capital<br />

Partners based in London. Cedar Capital Partners (“Cedar”)<br />

is a specialist hotel investment firm that focuses on acquiring<br />

and asset managing hotels on behalf <strong>of</strong> institutions and high<br />

net worth investors. Since its formation in 2004, Cedar<br />

Capital Partners have acquired hotels with a value in excess <strong>of</strong><br />

$700 million. Previously Mr. Mankarious was Executive VP at<br />

Kingdom Holding and Associate Director at HVS International.<br />

Peter Marano is <strong>the</strong> Chairman <strong>of</strong> Gemini Commercial<br />

Investments. He attended <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> California,<br />

Berkeley. He worked for <strong>the</strong> real estate department <strong>of</strong> The<br />

First Boston Corporation for five years prior to joining Olympia<br />

and York where he was <strong>the</strong> Leasing Director for <strong>the</strong> Canary<br />

Wharf project until 1992. He started Gemini in 1992 and<br />

since <strong>the</strong>n Gemini has developed several large scale <strong>of</strong>fice<br />

projects in London. He enjoys travel, tennis, and skiing.<br />

Etienne Marcot, IEP suivi d’un troisième cycle “aménagement<br />

et urbanisme” a passé plusieurs années à Crédisuez et à la<br />

Henin (1989 - 1998) où il fut en charge d’une partie de la<br />

défaisance. Il a poursuivit sa carrière en qualité de Directeur<br />

Général chez Constructa S.A. puis Président de la filiale<br />

asset management, crée en 2000. Début 2004 il rejoint le<br />

groupe GECINA comme Directeur Général de LOCARE, filiale<br />

de commercialisation de GECINA. En juillet 2005 il intègre<br />

le groupe UFG en tant que Directeur du pôle Investissements<br />

Arbitrages, membre du comité éxécutif.<br />

David started his pr<strong>of</strong>essional career working as a site<br />

engineer for Ferrrovial (one <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> biggest Spanish Construction<br />

groups). In this period he managed several building projects.<br />

In 1998 he joined Bovis Lend Lease where has worked in<br />

many different projects both in Spain and UK. In 2001 he<br />

was promoted to Project Director responsible for a diverse<br />

portfolio <strong>of</strong> projects both for Spanish and foreign investors.<br />

Currently he is <strong>the</strong> Managing Director <strong>of</strong> Parque Valdebebas, an<br />

important urban development in Madrid where 12.000 housing<br />

and 1.2 million m 2 <strong>of</strong>fices will be built. On <strong>the</strong> Academic<br />

side David is Ingeniero de Caminos and has an MBA in IESE<br />

Business School, University <strong>of</strong> Navarra.
