Rodney Bysh heads up <strong>the</strong> European Property Business<br />

Development team and is based in Frankfurt, where he is<br />

working on expanding <strong>the</strong> range <strong>of</strong> investment products<br />

for European investors. He is a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> European<br />

Executive Team <strong>of</strong> Henderson <strong>Global</strong> Investors and vice<br />

chairman <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> supervisory board <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> “Warburg-Henderson<br />

Kapitalanlagegesellschaft für Immobilien mbH”, a joint<br />

venture <strong>of</strong> M.M. Warburg and Henderson <strong>Global</strong> Investors<br />

which develops and distributes “Spezialfonds” for European<br />

Investors. Rodney also sits on a number <strong>of</strong> o<strong>the</strong>r fund boards<br />

including <strong>the</strong> European Outlet Mall Fund.<br />

Graduated from Yildiz Technical University Istanbul as a Civil<br />

Engineer in 1992, Emre Çamlibel worked for STFA in 1992. He<br />

continued his career in US, where he received an MS degree<br />

from MIT in 1994, prior to his work at Kennedy & Rossi and<br />

Walsh Bro<strong>the</strong>rs in Massachusettes, USA. He returned to<br />

Turkey in 1998 and started to work for Soyak, where he has<br />

held a number <strong>of</strong> executive roles. Emre has been <strong>the</strong> General<br />

Manager <strong>of</strong> Soyak Yapi since 2001 and was also appointed as<br />

a Board member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> company in 2004.<br />

In 2005, he set up City Star Private Equity, in partnership<br />

with Laurence Albertini (buy-out <strong>of</strong> non listed companies). He<br />

also set up Nexstar Capital in partnership with LBO France<br />

(Property Investment Fund). He organized <strong>the</strong> LBO on Nexity,<br />

<strong>of</strong> which he integrated <strong>the</strong> Directoire <strong>the</strong>n <strong>the</strong> supervisory<br />

board. He was Managing Director <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> group CGIS, <strong>the</strong><br />

property department <strong>of</strong> Vivendi Universal. Jean-Louis Charon<br />

began his career at <strong>the</strong> French Ministry <strong>of</strong> Industry, as Head<br />

Officer for Foreign Investments, <strong>the</strong>n joined GE Medical<br />

Systems, and became Managing Director <strong>of</strong> GEC Thomson<br />

Airborne Radars.<br />

Mr. Cherki is a Managing Director <strong>of</strong> RREEF based in London.<br />

He is responsible for REOF’s activities in France and Central<br />

and Eastern Europe. Since joining Deutsche Bank, he has<br />

completed above 15 transactions with a total investment value<br />

<strong>of</strong> above $2 billion. These transactions include <strong>the</strong> acquisition<br />

<strong>of</strong> SELEC, a French subsidiary <strong>of</strong> EDF with large residential<br />

property holdings, <strong>the</strong> sale and leaseback <strong>of</strong> a commercial<br />

portfolio 23 properties in France and <strong>the</strong> investment in a<br />

number <strong>of</strong> development joint ventures in <strong>the</strong> Czech Republic,<br />

Poland, and Russia. Mr. Cherki joined Deutsche Bank in<br />

1997. He received a B.A. in Management and Economics<br />

and an M.B.A. from <strong>the</strong> Kellogg School <strong>of</strong> Management <strong>of</strong><br />

Northwestern University.<br />

He has been Head <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Strategic Analysis Department<br />

- Equity Management - <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> BNL Group and he has been<br />

Member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Board <strong>of</strong> Directors in several Financial<br />

Companies subsidiaries <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> BNL Group in joint venture with<br />

some major Italian industrial groups. He was also Managing<br />

Director <strong>of</strong> Credifarma and “Lavoro Servizi Previdenziali”.<br />

He worked in Paris for <strong>the</strong> “Banque de la Société Financiere<br />

Européenne”. In 2005 he has been awarded <strong>the</strong> European<br />

Properties Italian Conference prize.<br />

Matteo is an Executive Director at Lehman Bro<strong>the</strong>rs where he<br />

works in <strong>the</strong> real estate investment banking team, covering<br />

Sou<strong>the</strong>rn Europan countries. Matteo has more than ten years<br />

<strong>of</strong> experience in investment banking, and seven exclusively<br />

focused on real estate, he has taken part to some <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

main European real estate transactions, and he has recently<br />

coordinated <strong>the</strong> structuring, funding and equity placement<br />

<strong>of</strong> Italian F.I.P. fund. Prior to focus on real estate, Matteo was<br />

part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> “Italian Privatisation Task Force”, coordinating<br />

some among <strong>the</strong> major Italian privatisation transactions.<br />

Kerim is <strong>the</strong> founder and Managing Partner <strong>of</strong> Colliers<br />

International (Turkey), <strong>the</strong> Turkish affiliate <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> premier<br />

global real estate advisory company. Kerim has been active<br />

in different capacities in Colliers, such as owner/broker or<br />

owner/advisor for <strong>the</strong> delivery <strong>of</strong> brokerage and advisory<br />

services to clients. He also oversaw <strong>the</strong> establishment<br />

and management <strong>of</strong> Colliers International <strong>of</strong>fices in Baku,<br />

Azerbaijan and Almaty, Kazakhstan during 2002-2003, as <strong>the</strong><br />

Managing Partner <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> joint venture firm which owned <strong>the</strong>se<br />

<strong>of</strong>fices. Kerim earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance and<br />

Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University in<br />

Los Angeles, California in July 1995.<br />

Mr. Clemente is a Director <strong>of</strong> RREEF responsible for<br />

investments in Spain and Portugal. He has completed several<br />

transactions with an aggregate value in excess <strong>of</strong> 1.2 billion<br />

euro in <strong>the</strong> commercial, hospitality and residential sectors,<br />

most <strong>of</strong> which have already been subsequently realized.<br />

He has also advised two telecommunication companies in<br />

Spain and Portugal on <strong>the</strong> reorganization <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir property<br />

portfolios. Mr. Clemente joined Bankers Trust (now part <strong>of</strong><br />

Deutsche Bank) in 1996 from <strong>the</strong> Spanish law firm Garrigues<br />

Andersen. He holds degrees in Law and in Economics &<br />

Business Administration from ICADE, is a teacher at Instituto<br />

de Empresa (IE) and a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Madrid Council <strong>of</strong> ULI.
