Christophe Montcerisier is Managing Director <strong>of</strong> French<br />
<strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Finance team for The Royal Bank <strong>of</strong> Scotland.<br />
Christophe started his career in 1986 with Banque Paribas<br />
he <strong>the</strong>n moved on to The Industrial Bank <strong>of</strong> Japan where he<br />
was responsible for <strong>the</strong> work-out <strong>of</strong> a Euro 3bln real estate<br />
loan portfolio. In 1997 Christophe joined <strong>the</strong> <strong>Global</strong> and<br />
Principal Investment Group <strong>of</strong> Merrill Lynch where he set up <strong>the</strong><br />
European real estate franchise. Prior to joining RBS Christophe<br />
was part <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> real estate advisory group <strong>of</strong> Citigroup where<br />
he advised several large corporates in <strong>the</strong> monetisation <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong>ir<br />
real estate portfolio.<br />
Erik Moresco is a Principal <strong>of</strong> Blackstone, responsible for<br />
sourcing and executing transactions throughout Europe, with<br />
particular concentration on France, Spain, Portugal and <strong>the</strong><br />
Benelux region. He joined Blackstone after spending several<br />
years with Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division in<br />
New York, London, and Paris, becoming a key member <strong>of</strong><br />
MSREF’s French team. He received a Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Science<br />
degree from Cornell University. Mr. Moresco is Dutch and is<br />
fluent in English, French and Spanish.<br />

Started career in <strong>the</strong> investment banking department <strong>of</strong><br />
Credit Agricole Indosuez, he held various roles in <strong>the</strong> M&A<br />
department and was involved in cross border France-Italian<br />
M&A transactions in <strong>the</strong> banking and insurance sectors. In<br />
2002 he moved to Aedes Spa as director for <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong><br />
Finance and Investments, where he was responsible for <strong>the</strong><br />
execution <strong>of</strong> retail and <strong>of</strong>fice deals, being instrumental to <strong>the</strong><br />
growth <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> company portfolio and market cap. In 2004 Max<br />
joined GE <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> in Milan where he formed and led <strong>the</strong><br />
Risk/Underwriting team and in 2006 he moved to Business<br />
Development where he is responsible for increasing existing<br />
market and customer reach, driving growth into new products<br />
and supporting <strong>the</strong> growth strategy for Italy.<br />
Alfonso Munk is a Vice President <strong>of</strong> Morgan Stanley based<br />
in Madrid and responsible for Morgan Stanley’s real estate<br />
investing activities in Spain and Portugal. Alfonso, who joined<br />
Morgan Stanley in 2002, has considerable experience in<br />
both principal investing and investment banking areas in real<br />
estate including acquisitions <strong>of</strong> single assets and portfolios,<br />
establishing several investment joint-ventures in residential<br />
and retail sectors with Grupo Lar as well as minority share<br />
acquisitions through <strong>the</strong> Morgan Stanley Special Situations<br />
Fund. Alfonso received an MBA from Wharton Business<br />
School.<br />

John Nacos runs Deutsche Bank’s Commercial <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong><br />
Group in Europe, which is active in real estate lending, CMBS<br />
and distressed mortgages. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in<br />
2001, John was <strong>the</strong> co-founder and CFO <strong>of</strong> Creditweb, one <strong>of</strong><br />
Europe’s leading on-line/<strong>of</strong>f-line mortgage intermediaries with<br />
annual loan originations in excess <strong>of</strong> €1 billion. John worked<br />
at Merrill Lynch for eleven years and established and managed<br />
Merrill Lynch’s mortgage financing, opportunistic real estate<br />
and MBS/ABS trading activities in Europe. John is a 1989<br />
graduate <strong>of</strong> Harvard College.<br />
Dune runs two funds, a hedge fund and a real estate<br />
opportunity fund, through which <strong>the</strong>y control over $2.2 billion <strong>of</strong><br />
equity. In real estate, <strong>the</strong> Funds invest throughout <strong>the</strong> capital<br />
structure. The Funds primarily invest in <strong>the</strong> U.S. and Western<br />
Europe. Prior to forming Dune in 2004, Dan was at Goldman<br />
Sachs where he was a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Firm’s Management<br />
Committee, co-head <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Merchant Banking Division, and<br />
Chairman <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Whitehall Investment Committee. He founded<br />
<strong>the</strong> Whitehall Funds in 1991 and had run <strong>the</strong> Funds through<br />
<strong>the</strong> time he left Goldman, during which time <strong>the</strong> Funds raised<br />
over $12 billion <strong>of</strong> equity and purchased over $50 billion <strong>of</strong><br />
real estate interests throughout <strong>the</strong> world.<br />

Julian Newiss began his real estate career with Jones Lang<br />
Wootton in London and New York. He became a director <strong>of</strong><br />
a number <strong>of</strong> London and Edinburgh Trust PLC’s international<br />
development companies during <strong>the</strong> 1980s. Subsequently Mr<br />
Newiss was Chairman <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Board <strong>of</strong> Colliers Europe and a<br />
director <strong>of</strong> Colliers itself. In 1993, he joined Kennedy-Wilson<br />
as European Managing Director. In 1995, this became<br />
Greenwich Group International (GGI), a global real estate<br />
investment group. In 2001 Mr Newiss and his management<br />
team acquired <strong>the</strong> European business <strong>of</strong> GGI to form Catalyst<br />
Capital, <strong>of</strong> which Mr Newiss is Chairman.<br />
Roger Newman is Senior Vice President <strong>of</strong> Property<br />
Management <strong>of</strong> Paramount Group, Inc., one <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> largest<br />
privately owned real estate, acquisition, redevelopment and<br />
management firms in New York City. Previously, Mr. Newman<br />
was Vice President <strong>of</strong> Acquisitions for Equitec Financial Group<br />
and Vice President <strong>of</strong> Operations, Investments and Marketing<br />
for Triad Utah. Roger graduated from Brigham Young University<br />
with a B.S. Degree in Business with a concentration in Finance.
