Dr. Ilja Gop is Managing Partner <strong>of</strong> Dr. Gop & Klingsöhr Group,<br />

a real estate company, based in Berlin, acting in business<br />

areas as Consulting, Project Management, Asset Management<br />

and Development. The group <strong>of</strong>fers services for commercial<br />

and residential properties and is one <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> leading specialists<br />

in <strong>the</strong> field <strong>of</strong> german health care real estate. Ilja Gop was<br />

co-founder <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> firm in 1994. Prior he worked for McKinsey<br />

& Company. He holds a master and Ph.D. in economics from<br />

Technical University <strong>of</strong> Berlin.<br />

Jonas Grandér is a Principal and Senior Vice President <strong>of</strong><br />

Lehman Bro<strong>the</strong>rs <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Partners. Prior to joining<br />

Lehman Bro<strong>the</strong>rs in 2005, Mr. Grandér was a principal in<br />

Doughty Hanson & Co. <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Fund where he worked from<br />

1999. At Doughty Hanson, Mr. Grandér was responsible for<br />

<strong>the</strong> Nordic activities, and successfully managed a real estate<br />

investment and development portfolio worth more than Euro<br />

1 billion in total value. Prior to joining Doughty Hanson, Mr.<br />

Grandér worked at GE Capital <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> where he was part<br />

<strong>of</strong> establishing and growing <strong>the</strong> Swedish and Danish loan<br />

portfolio <strong>of</strong> senior, mezzanine and participating debt. He has<br />

11 years <strong>of</strong> real estate experience and holds an M.Sc. from<br />

Stockholm School <strong>of</strong> Economics.<br />

Philippe is currently in charge <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Investment Banking<br />

department in France and also intervening on transactions<br />

in o<strong>the</strong>r countries <strong>of</strong> Continental Europe. Philippe joined<br />

Morgan Stanley in 1999 working in <strong>the</strong> Mergers & Acquisitions<br />

department in London and in Paris. In 2004 he joined <strong>the</strong><br />

Firm’s <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> department in Paris where he has been<br />

involved in <strong>the</strong> most recent significant transactions <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

French real estate market. Philippe holds an MBA from<br />

INSEAD and a masters degree in Finance from <strong>the</strong> Ecole<br />

Supérieure de Commerce de Paris and <strong>the</strong> Diploma <strong>of</strong> French<br />

Chartered Accountancy Studies.<br />

Karim Habra manages GE <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong>’s operations across <strong>the</strong><br />

Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Bulgaria, and<br />

is leading <strong>the</strong> entrance into <strong>the</strong> Baltic and Romanian markets.<br />

Since 2001, Karim has grown GE’s business in Central Europe<br />

and led <strong>the</strong> Prague and Warsaw-based teams. He has actively<br />

participated in every transaction GE has completed in <strong>the</strong><br />

region, which consists <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> acquisitions <strong>of</strong> 40 retail, <strong>of</strong>fice<br />

and industrial assets (Euro 1bn <strong>of</strong> value) and 3 non-performing<br />

loans portfolios. Prior to this, Karim was based in GE <strong>Real</strong><br />

<strong>Estate</strong>’s European headquarters in Paris, where he worked on<br />

transactions in France, Germany, Spain and Italy.<br />

Peter Haenseler is <strong>the</strong> founder and Chairman <strong>of</strong> PH Investment<br />

AG (PHI), which is managing several Russian <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong><br />

funds. PHI has <strong>of</strong>fices in Zurich, Moscow and Krasnodar.<br />

Previously he was a member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> senior management <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

Marc Rich Group (Switzerland) responsible among o<strong>the</strong>rs for<br />

Russian <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong>. He began his career working as a lawyer<br />

specialised in international real estate transactions with Baer<br />

& Karrer in Zurich. Peter Haenseler holds a JD and Ph.D. from<br />

Zurich University law school and an LL.M. from Georgetown law<br />

school, Washington, D.C., he is admitted to <strong>the</strong> Zurich Bar.<br />

Dana is Managing Director <strong>of</strong> Archstone B.V., a wholly owned<br />

Ne<strong>the</strong>rlands-based subsidiary <strong>of</strong> Archstone-Smith (NYSE: ASN)<br />

that invests in residential real estate outside <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> US. Prior<br />

to moving to <strong>the</strong> Ne<strong>the</strong>rlands, Ms. Hamilton was executive vice<br />

president-National Operations. Part <strong>of</strong> Archstone-Smith since<br />

1994, she has held a variety <strong>of</strong> senior positions in <strong>the</strong> areas<br />

<strong>of</strong> business development, marketing and communications<br />

and national operations. Ms. Hamilton received her Master<br />

<strong>of</strong> Business Administration degree from <strong>the</strong> Haas School <strong>of</strong><br />

Business at <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> California at Berkeley, and her<br />

Bachelor <strong>of</strong> Arts degree from Stanford University.<br />

Hans Hammer studied civil engineering at <strong>the</strong> Technical<br />

University in Munich and gained his Master <strong>of</strong> Business<br />

Administration at INSEAD in Fontainebleau/France. In 1990<br />

he began working in <strong>the</strong> real estate business and in 1998<br />

took over <strong>the</strong> management <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Hammer Group. He has<br />

been CEO <strong>of</strong> Hammer AG since 2002. Hans Hammer is also<br />

honorary consul to <strong>the</strong> Democratic Socialist Republic <strong>of</strong> Sri<br />

Lanka for <strong>the</strong> states <strong>of</strong> Bavaria and Hessen.
