Arthur de Haast is <strong>Global</strong> CEO <strong>of</strong> Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels,<br />

responsible for an international team some 160 pr<strong>of</strong>essionals<br />

worldwide. Arthur has extensive experience within <strong>the</strong> global<br />

hotel market, having been involved in, or having led, a wide<br />

range <strong>of</strong> both advisory and transactional assignments. In<br />

2005 <strong>the</strong> Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels team closed on over 100<br />

transactions selling more than 30,000 rooms to a value <strong>of</strong> in<br />

excess <strong>of</strong> US$8 billion in 72 cities worldwide. In addition <strong>the</strong><br />

team provided advisory and valuation expertise on 139,498<br />

rooms to <strong>the</strong> value <strong>of</strong> US$31.8 billion across 265 cities.<br />

Jean manages European investments for REPIA, London. He<br />

joined Goldman Sachs in 1988 as a Mergers & Acquisitions<br />

analyst. In 1992, he helped start PIA in Europe, and<br />

transferred to his current position in 1998 after two years in<br />

Corporate Finance building our leveraged finance presence<br />

in France. Jean became a Managing Director in 2000. Jean<br />

earned a BA with honors in politics, philosophy and economics<br />

from Merton College <strong>of</strong> Oxford University in 1988.<br />

Joined Shurgard in 1997 as Controller focusing on Belgian<br />

activities. In 1998 became Finance Controller Europe and<br />

was promoted to Vice President, Finance & Administration in<br />

January 2000 and to Chief Financial Officer in 2004. In May,<br />

2005 was appointed Managing Director <strong>of</strong> Shurgard Europe.<br />

Prior to joining Shurgard he worked with KPMG as a Senior<br />

Auditor from 1993 to early 1997. From 1992 to 1993 he<br />

did a year’s internship with Telecommunications Techniques<br />

Corporation in Washington D.C. Mr. De Tollenaere holds<br />

a degree in Commercial Engineering from <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong><br />

Brussels, a Postgraduate diploma in International Comparative<br />

Management from ICHEC Business School and a diploma in<br />

Tax Management from <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> Brussels.<br />

Peter Denton is a Managing Director and Co-Head <strong>of</strong> European<br />

Debt Capital Markets Origination at Eurohypo. His role is to<br />

manage <strong>the</strong> origination, structuring and execution <strong>of</strong> many <strong>of</strong><br />

Eurohypo’s complex real estate related financings throughout<br />

Western Europe. This includes CMBS origination for Eurohypo’s<br />

“Opera” conduit and <strong>the</strong> provision <strong>of</strong> on balance sheet<br />

structured finance. Peter has been with Eurohypo since 2002.<br />

Jordan is Chief Development Officer <strong>of</strong> TriGranit Development<br />

Corporation. He joined <strong>the</strong> company in 1998 and is now<br />

responsible for <strong>the</strong> company’s overall development activities in<br />

Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Croatia, Bulgaria, Romania<br />

and Slovenia and is spearheading <strong>the</strong>ir expansion into Serbia,<br />

Ukraine and Russia. He has actively participated in all <strong>the</strong><br />

company’s development transactions to date amounting to<br />

more than Euro 1.5 billion in value. The Company’s pipeline <strong>of</strong><br />

developments now exceeds Euro 2.5 billion in 11 countries.<br />

Prior to this, Jordan worked in Montreal for <strong>the</strong> NYSE listed<br />

Trizec Properties for 5 years where he managed a portfolio <strong>of</strong><br />

<strong>of</strong>fice buildings in Canada.<br />

Clemente Di Paola is <strong>the</strong> General Manager <strong>of</strong> Investire<br />

Immobiliare SGR SPA. He set up <strong>the</strong> Company five years ago<br />

with Finnat Euramerica Bank. Investire Immobiliare SGR S.p.A.<br />

is one <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> largest <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Fund Management Company<br />

in Italy. Clemente, after having acquired, managed and closed<br />

two residential real estate funds (Euro 1Bln <strong>of</strong> property<br />

assets), is also responsible for <strong>the</strong> management <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> first<br />

real estate investment Fund promoted by <strong>the</strong> Republic <strong>of</strong> Italy,<br />

known as FIP with a property value <strong>of</strong> Euro 3.7Bln.<br />

en janvier 2003, il devient Président du Directoire. Il est<br />

également Administrateur - Directeur Général de la CGIS<br />

(Compagnie Générale d’Immobilier et de Services) (depuis<br />

1996), Administrateur de la Société Vinci (depuis 1997),<br />

Administrateur de l’Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Lille<br />

(depuis 1998) et Membre du Bureau Exécutif de la Fédération<br />

des Promoteurs Constructeurs (FPC) (depuis 1998).<br />

Laurent Diot is Vice President in charge <strong>of</strong> international<br />

operations for Nexity. Before joining <strong>the</strong> CGIS (Compagnie<br />

Générale d’Immobilier et de Services) in <strong>the</strong> Vivendi group as<br />

Director <strong>of</strong> Audit and Strategy in 1996, he served as project<br />

manager at <strong>the</strong> Compagnie des Eaux et de l’Ozone. He has<br />

served as Vice President, Business Development <strong>of</strong> Nexity and<br />

is CEO <strong>of</strong> Nexity International since 2002. He holds a degree<br />

from <strong>the</strong> Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (H.E.C.).
