Eric Martin-Impératori is a partner with Gide Loyrette Nouel,
graduate of the University of Paris, and member of the Paris
Bar. Eric specialises in planning and construction law,
acquisition of real estate portfolios, commercial leases and
related litigation. His clients include major retail centres and
outlet villages, hotel groups, property companies, banks and
investment funds. With respect to commercial leases, Eric
advises widely in relation to lease negotiations relating to
commercial centres and office premises.
John McCarthy joined Lehman Brothers Real Estate Private
Equity team in June 2005. In his role as Managing Director,
responsible for the Asset Management of the European
portfolio, he oversees the management of approximately
Euro 10 billion of assets across three funds. Prior to joining
Lehman, Mr. McCarthy was a partner at O’Connor Capital
Partners (Co- General Partner of the Peabody Funds), and Co-
Head of the European business. Before this, John was with GE
Capital for 17 years, with 12 years in the Real Estate group.

Mike McNamara is the Partner in charge of the Real Estate
Finance team within Ernst & Young’s Real Estate Group in
London. Mike has managed a wide variety of real estate
related transactions in the US, Canada and Europe including
debt and equity raising for specific projects, arranging entity
based finance, disposing of portfolios of properties and debt,
leading large corporate structured sale and leaseback deals,
troubled debt restructuring and negotiating joint ventures.
After working with Hines in Chicago and London, followed by
several years at Goldman Sachs’ Whitehall Funds, Markus
joined his family firm, MAB, a European mixed-use developer
and investor, as CFO. Amongst other achievements, he
managed the sale of the majority of the business to ABN
AMRO. In December 2004, Markus co-founded Meyer
Bergman, a European real estate investment management
firm with offices in London, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
Meyer Bergman currently controls an investment and
development portfolio valued at Euro 2.5 billion. Markus has
a Law Degree from Leyden University and an MBA degree
from INSEAD.

Steven K. Meyer is President and Chief Operating Officer of
ProLogis Europe and serves on the company’s management
board. He is responsible for managing in excess of
seven million square meters with a total investment value
of approximately Euro 4.5 billion. His duties include the
development and acquisition of distribution facilities in the 13
countries in Europe in which ProLogis is represented. Prior to
assuming his European position, Steve Meyer was Managing
Director with responsibilities for ProLogis’ Central Region,
consisting of primarily Texas, Colorado and Mexico. He has
over 25 years of experience in the real estate industry.
Robert is a Principal at Macquarie Capital Partners Ltd where
he has overall responsibility for the EU investment banking
activities of the firm. Prior to joining MCP, Mr. Meyer was
an Executive Director in the investment banking division of
Morgan Stanley where he was responsible for all RE activities
in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria. Prior to Morgan Stanley,
he was a Senior Vice President with Security Capital Markets
Group Ltd; and, earlier in his career, he was in the debt capital
markets group at J.P. Morgan. Mr. Meyer received his M.B.A.
from the Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration
and an M.A. in Jurisprudence (law) degree from Oxford
University. Mr. Meyer is also approved as an Investment
Advisor by the FSA.

Managing Partner Benson Ellitot, Marc was until recently, the
Managing Director of the $2.0 billion (assets) Doughty Hanson
Real Estate Fund, one of the most successful private equity
real estate funds in Europe. Marc began his European real
estate career in 1990 with Goldman Sachs (London), following
four years on the investment team at Chicago-based JMB
Realty. In 1993, Marc established the real estate and hotel
investment unit at the EBRD. Marc holds a BS degree from
Wharton and an MBA from Kellogg.
Based in Paris, Mahdi is Head of Research and Strategy at IXIS
AEW Europe (IAE), a leading real estate investment managing
company, with euro 13.2 billion AUM. His responsibilities
cover market coverage, publications, investment underwriting
and strategic portfolio design. Prior to joining IAE, Mahdi was
with IPD as Director of Research covering France, Spain and
Portugal. Mahdi was Associate Professor of economics and
finance, UCP and ESSEC. He holds a PhD in finance from
EHESS, is President of AREIM (the French real estate research
association), and co-chairs of INREV’s Research Committee.
