Currently Head <strong>of</strong> Bank <strong>of</strong> America Securities, <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong><br />

Investment Banking group in Europe, Simon has been working<br />

in investment banking for fourteen years. He has a wide range<br />

<strong>of</strong> experience involving advisory roles with clients in <strong>the</strong> <strong>Real</strong><br />

<strong>Estate</strong>, Lodging, Gaming and Leisure industries as well as both<br />

debt and equity capital raising. Simon has been with Bank <strong>of</strong><br />

America Securities for eight years and previously with Natwest<br />

Markets/Greenwich Natwest.<br />

Neil joined Citigroup Property Investors (“CPI”) in February<br />

2005 as Director and Chief Investment Officer for <strong>the</strong> CPI<br />

Capital Partners Europe Fund, prior to which Neil was a<br />

successful private real estate investor. Previously, Neil was<br />

Head <strong>of</strong> European <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> for DLJ <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Capital<br />

Partners (“RECP”), a US$660 million real estate opportunity<br />

fund managed by Donaldson, Lufkin and Jenrette. Neil joined<br />

DLJ as a Managing Director in New York in January 1995,<br />

where he was one <strong>of</strong> three founding partners <strong>of</strong> DLJ <strong>Real</strong><br />

<strong>Estate</strong> Capital Partners. Neil moved to London in 1998. Prior<br />

to DLJ, Neil was a Vice President at Goldman, Sachs & Co. and<br />

Chief Financial Officer for <strong>the</strong> Whitehall Funds.<br />

Johannes Haug is a Member <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Board <strong>of</strong> Management<br />

at Deka Immobilien Investment GmbH. His responsibilities<br />

include acquisition, asset management and disposition <strong>of</strong><br />

Deka Immobilien’s international real estate portfolio. Before<br />

joining Deka Immobilien in 1999, Mr. Haug worked for seven<br />

years with <strong>the</strong> US based international development company,<br />

Hines, where he acted as Project Manager. His career began<br />

as an architect working for several architecture firms both in<br />

Germany and <strong>the</strong> US. Mr. Haug initially studied architecture<br />

at <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> Stuttgart, obtained a Masters degree in<br />

Architecture in <strong>the</strong> USA and subsequently added a Master <strong>of</strong><br />

Business Administration degree from <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> Virginia<br />

to his credentials.<br />

Dietrich Heidtmann is an Executive Director <strong>of</strong> Morgan Stanley<br />

and joined Morgan Stanley in 1993. He is co-head <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong><br />

<strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Private Capital Markets activities in Europe and<br />

<strong>the</strong> Middle East. In this role he is coordinating capital raising<br />

and banking activities with institutional investors as well as<br />

assisting in <strong>the</strong> acquisition activities <strong>of</strong> Morgan Stanley’s<br />

proprietary property funds from this group <strong>of</strong> clients. He led<br />

<strong>the</strong> effort to establish Morgan Stanley’s real estate KAG in<br />

Germany, Morgan Stanley <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Investment GmbH, and<br />

is a member <strong>of</strong> its Supervisory Board. He graduated from<br />

University <strong>of</strong> Mannheim (Germany) as a Diplomkaufmann<br />

(MBA) in 1988.<br />

Friedrich Heilmann is a partner in <strong>the</strong> Frankfurt <strong>of</strong>fice <strong>of</strong><br />

Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. He leads <strong>the</strong> firm’s <strong>Real</strong><br />

<strong>Estate</strong> Practice Group in Germany and Austria. He is also <strong>the</strong><br />

deputy leader <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Global</strong> <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Group.<br />

Benoît is a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs and is <strong>the</strong><br />

European Chief Financial Officer <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Whitehall funds. He<br />

joined Goldman Sachs in 2000 as a Vice President and<br />

became Managing Director in 2002. Prior to joining <strong>the</strong> firm,<br />

Benoit worked as a lawyer for Gide and as a directeur general<br />

for Archon Group France. Benoit earned a MBA from HEC in<br />

1989. He became a lawyer at <strong>the</strong> Paris Bar in 1992.<br />

PRAMERICA REAL ESTATE INVESTORS (EUROPE) AG.<br />

Miguel is co-chairman <strong>of</strong> Avenue TWC, a company with<br />

expertise in <strong>the</strong> fields <strong>of</strong> City Branding, City Management and<br />

Urban Regeneration. He is an architect and urban planner<br />

specialising in leading multi-disciplinary teams and providing<br />

integrated, broad based solutions for a variety <strong>of</strong> complex<br />

design and planning projects. From 1997 to 2005 he was<br />

Partner and Director <strong>of</strong> Aguirre Newman´s Town Planning<br />

Department, where he was responsible for developing over<br />

200 projects. He is also Director <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Advanced Program on<br />

<strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Company Management, <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> leading European<br />

business school, “Instituto de Empresa”(Madrid- Spain).<br />

Thomas Hoeller is one <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Executive Board Members <strong>of</strong><br />

Pramerica <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Investors (Europe) AG (formerly TMW<br />

Immobilien AG) in Munich. Mr. Hoeller is mainly responsible<br />

for Pramerica’s European activities and has been in charge <strong>of</strong><br />

setting up Pramerica <strong>of</strong>fices in Europe. Mr. Hoeller has lived<br />

in New York from 1980 to 1991, where he was involved in<br />

syndicating properties to German investors. Mr. Hoeller has a<br />

BA from <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> Economics in St. Gallen, Switzerland<br />

and an MBA in International Studies from <strong>the</strong> Vienna School <strong>of</strong><br />

Law and Diplomacy, Austria.
