Mr Pochard is Senior Managing Director <strong>of</strong> IXIS AEW Europe.<br />
Mr Pochard has been working within <strong>the</strong> finance and real<br />
estate fields for over 20 years and held various senior level<br />
positions at Capri Enterprises and SCIC Investissement, both<br />
subsidiaries <strong>of</strong> ICADE Group. Mr Pochard is a graduate <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> Institut D’Etudes Politiques (I.E.P.), Paris and holds a<br />
postgraduate business degree from <strong>the</strong> Dauphine University<br />
in Paris.<br />
Sue Porter is head <strong>of</strong> our London tax group. She specialises<br />
in corporate tax and corporate tax planning, <strong>the</strong> tax aspects<br />
<strong>of</strong> real estate, capital markets, banking and securitisation<br />
transactions, and structured products. Sue is <strong>the</strong> author <strong>of</strong> a<br />
chapter <strong>of</strong> Tolley’s Tax Planning and has contributed numerous<br />
articles to various publications. She is listed in Chambers<br />
UK and The Legal 500. Sue was educated at Trinity College,<br />
Cambridge and has been a partner in <strong>the</strong> firm since 1992.<br />

Tony Potter is Group Chief Executive <strong>of</strong> Millennium & Copthorne<br />
Hotels and Executive Director <strong>of</strong> Millennium & Copthorne<br />
Hotels plc. He joined <strong>the</strong> Group in 1999. He previously held<br />
posts in Choice Hotels as CEO, Hilton International as Director<br />
and Senior VP Europe, Senior VP North America & Canada<br />
and MD <strong>of</strong> Hilton UK. In his earlier career, Tony held general<br />
management positions with Thistle and De Vere. Tony is a<br />
Fellow <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Hotel & Catering International Management<br />
Association.<br />
Richard Powers is a Managing Director and Co-Head <strong>of</strong><br />
European <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> at Goldman Sachs International (“GSI”).<br />
In this role, Richard oversees GSI’s European real estate<br />
investment activities. GSI and <strong>the</strong> Whitehall funds control over<br />
$21 billion <strong>of</strong> assets across seven European countries.<br />

Mr. Prince is a main Board Director <strong>of</strong> LRG Holdings Limited,<br />
<strong>the</strong> company which acquired 73 Holiday Inn and Crowne<br />
Plaza Hotels for £1 Bln from IHG Plc in 2005 in partnership<br />
with Lehman Bro<strong>the</strong>rs and GIC <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong>. He is also Vice<br />
Chairman <strong>of</strong> <strong>Real</strong>star’s hotel asset management business<br />
which asset manages <strong>the</strong> LRG portfolio. He also serves as<br />
Chairman <strong>of</strong> <strong>Real</strong>star Healthcare, <strong>the</strong> owner <strong>of</strong> a diversified<br />
portfolio <strong>of</strong> government operated primary healthcare facilities<br />
throughout <strong>the</strong> UK. Ryan has a BA in Commercial Studies from<br />
Huron College at <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> Western Ontario, Canada<br />
(Honours) and a post-graduate degree in business from <strong>the</strong><br />
London School <strong>of</strong> Economics (Merit).<br />
Mr. Puhl is an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley and<br />
responsible for <strong>the</strong> Firm’s German <strong>Real</strong> <strong>Estate</strong> Investment<br />
Banking. Amongst his recent assignments were <strong>the</strong> Euro<br />
244 MM IPO <strong>of</strong> DIC Asset, and <strong>the</strong> Euro 7 bn sale <strong>of</strong> Viterra.<br />
He joined <strong>the</strong> Firm in 2000. Prior to that, he was CFO <strong>of</strong> a<br />
portfolio company <strong>of</strong> private equity firm Permira. Mr. Puhl is a<br />
Graduate <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> St. Gallen (HSG).<br />

in different management positions with ECE Projektmanagement,<br />
a leading developer <strong>of</strong> shopping centers. As<br />
Managing Director <strong>of</strong> ECE Projektmanagement International<br />
G.m.b.H. & Co. KG he was responsible for <strong>the</strong> international<br />
project development activities <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> group. In July 2004 he<br />
joined Commerz Grundbesitz Group, <strong>the</strong> fund management<br />
company that manages <strong>the</strong> open ended real estate funds<br />
hausInvest europe and hausInvest global. He is Chairman <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>the</strong> Board <strong>of</strong> Managing Directors <strong>of</strong> Commerz Grundbesitz-<br />
Investmentgesellschaft mbH (CGI) and Head <strong>of</strong> Supervisory<br />
Board <strong>of</strong> Commerz Grundbesitz-Spezialfondsgesellschaft mbH (CGS).<br />
Paul Raingold started his career in <strong>the</strong> USA and held positions<br />
in London before moving in France. Paul is President <strong>of</strong><br />
Générale Continentale Investissements based in Paris, and<br />
formed in 1975 a company which has invested with partners<br />
in over 6,000,000 sq. feet <strong>of</strong> <strong>of</strong>fices and o<strong>the</strong>r commercial<br />
properties, in <strong>the</strong> Paris region and in o<strong>the</strong>r major cities in<br />
France. Paul Raingold is a graduate <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> University <strong>of</strong> London<br />
and a fellow <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> Royal <strong>Institute</strong> <strong>of</strong> Chartered Surveyors.
