When the draft has been created:<br />

v To save the draft item, click Save, Save and close, orSave and read.<br />

v To publ<strong>is</strong>h the draft item, click Save and publ<strong>is</strong>h.<br />

When saved, your draft item will be d<strong>is</strong>played alongside other items in your item views but will<br />

be d<strong>is</strong>played with a status of draft. If you have created a draft of a previously publ<strong>is</strong>hed item,<br />

both the draft and publ<strong>is</strong>hed versions of your item will appear in your item views. You can edit<br />

and save drafts multiple times before publ<strong>is</strong>hing your changes.<br />

Publ<strong>is</strong>hing a draft item<br />

Any changes made to a draft item will not appear in the live site until you publ<strong>is</strong>h the draft item.<br />

When your draft <strong>is</strong> ready to publ<strong>is</strong>h, you can use one of the following three methods:<br />

v Select an item in a view and click Publ<strong>is</strong>h item.<br />

v Open an item in read mode and click Publ<strong>is</strong>h item.<br />

v Open an item in edit mode and click Save and publ<strong>is</strong>h.<br />

Canceling a draft<br />

Canceling a draft <strong>is</strong> essentially the same as deleting a draft because all the changes made to the<br />

item are d<strong>is</strong>carded. To cancel a draft, open a draft item and click Cancel draft.<br />

You will now learn how to create a draft of a presentation template.<br />

Procedure<br />

1. Open the Landing presentation template in edit mode.<br />

2. Click Save > Save as draft.<br />
