A category refers to the subject matter of your content. You group categories within taxonomies. You use workflows to control the access to, verification, and eventual approval of IBM Web Content Manager items. When creating a workflow, you select a set of workflow stages. Workflow actions are executed upon entering or exiting a workflow stage. Projects are used to manage changes to a set of items. Only after all items in a project are approved and made ready to publish are all the items in a project published to the live site. Lesson 1.2: Design documents and the website prototype Your task is to develop a portlet-based website based on a set of planning materials, including an HTML sample and design document. Planning and design Before you begin building a website, a set of design and architecture documents will have been developed. The HTML sample You will use the following HTML sample for the design of the website. The sample was designed by a graphic design company. It consists of a single HTML page, some images, and a style sheet.
