Step back in time at our early 1900’s joinery shop to witness
first hand original working machinery from the 1860’s. View
building & joinery conservation practices being applied to
works in progress. See shingle splitting in the traditional
method. Antique tools, equipment & trade books will be on
display as well as a selection of contemporary furniture pieces
designed and produced on site by our high quality trades
people. Refreshments available.

Royal National Park History Tour
Bungoona Path, adjacent to NPWS office, Farnell Ave
Catch a tram into Royal National Park and join a free guided
tour to Bungoona Lookout. The interpretive walk takes you
along a ridge top to a lookout where you will enjoy panoramic
views of the Hacking River valley. Hear about the history of the
area and learn about the activities that took place in the early
years. Wear sturdy shoes, a hot and sunscreen. The earliest
tram leaves Loftus Tramway museum at 9.15am. The last tour
departs at 1.30pm.

Sun through filtered telescopes (weather permitting). Hourly
lectures and DVD presentations. Complimentary tea/coffee
