concert on the Nullarbor with their ukulele orchestra, 5th
September 2011. This group also performed at the Head of
the Bight Tourist Center. South Australia. Clarence Ormsby
entertainer will take a concert to perform in “Ormsby Hall” in
Taree, NSW. Clarence Ormsby is a disabled war veteran who
served two tours of duty in the Vietnam War operating with
the 1st Australian Task Force at Nui Dat. The name Ormsby
has a cultural link with England and the indigenous people of
New Zealand hence the celebration of “Ormsby Family Hangi”
Hangi in translation means cooking of food Maori style. As
part of the National Trust’s Heritage Festival the Ormsby family
have organised this special cultural feast and entertainment
to share its proud history on Australian soil. Please book by
before March 20th, 2012.

Come Delving into Dunnies, learning about toilets in colonial
times and the story behind one very special Wedgwood toilet
bowl unearthed by archaeologists. Guided tour over the
Innes Ruins looking at the convict brickwork and plumbing.
Bring a picnic lunch and waterbottle. Wear enclosed walking
shoes, hat and bring insect repellent. Meet at locked gate
south end of Ruins Way,of Oxley Hwy, Port Macquarie. Access
into site across privatee property from 10am- 10.20am then

Amazing Astronomical Stories
Rotary Park, Stewart Street
A 90minute entertaining presentation of the night sky with
spectacular images of astronomical objects together with
a 3D look at Mars or the Moon while the presenter relates
amazing stories of astronomical innovation, invention and
discovery. Plus an opportunity to look at and hold a metallic
meteorite. Weather permitting the evening begins and ends
with a look through the telescope.
