Railways were once the cutting edge of invention and<br />
innovation, and improvements in rail design, track and<br />
signalling have been ongoing since the first locomotive<br />
hauled the first carriage. Trainworks is presenting a temporary<br />
exhibition detailing some of the innovative improvements<br />
designed and implemented by the railways throughout the<br />
years, including many that have come about to improve safety<br />
following accidents. The exhibition will include photographs<br />
and small railway objects and lectures. Check the website for<br />

wife begging her children with her last words to “water ‘em<br />
geraniums”. Welcome to our heritage meeting at 1.45pm on<br />
Saturday 28th April 2012, hear an interesting speaker, see<br />
and buy fascinating, colourful geraniums- tasty afternoon tea.<br />
