Street
See how the early settlers and convicts worked to push
roads and a railway through the rough terrain of the Blue
Mountains. The struggle of the workforce is shown by the
nature of the farm equipment, which needed huge physical
effort. The domestic scene is illustrated by pottery, silverware,
musical instruments, costume and furniture. Many natural
history exhibits depict wildlife both local and foreign. Hourly
train service to the door, some wheelchair access, parking
available.
