Process for Returning Boards<br />

For Authorized Dealers and Distributors only.<br />

If you are an authorized dealer or distributor, follow this process to pack and<br />

ship <strong>apC</strong>/<strong>8X</strong> boards for repair, advance replacement, or credit only. Do not<br />

include enclosures.<br />

Request an RMA Number<br />

1. Before packing and shipping <strong>apC</strong>/<strong>8X</strong> boards, request a Return<br />

Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Packages that are not<br />

marked with an RMA number may be refused and returned to sender.<br />

2. To request an RMA number, contact the Software House Material<br />

Support Center.<br />

Information for Material Support Center<br />

3. When you call the Material Support Center, please have available:<br />

• Company name (Authorized Dealers or Distributors only), Account<br />

number, Phone number, FAX number, Contact name (Person<br />

requesting the return).<br />

• Reason for the request – Repair, Advance Replacement, or Credit.<br />

• Model number, Serial number, original Purchase Order number or<br />

Sales order, Description, Quantity, Problem reported.<br />

• PO number to cover any non-warranty repairs, even if the unit is<br />

under warranty.<br />

• Bill To address, Ship To address, and Shipping Method.<br />

4. Complete a Return Merchandise Authorization form and fax it to<br />

Material Support Center who will provide an RMA number and<br />

shipping labels.<br />
