style are still emulated today by fashion designers
and celebrities, as they were at the height of her
brilliant career.
She remains the iconic poster-child for the ‘gamine’
look, with her pixie cut, turtleneck, ballerina flats and
Capri pants. Her signature style was very much her
own, not created by a fashion stylist nor spun by a team
of image-makers.

strokes of Éclat Minute Pen to brighten shadowy areas, especially
under eyes. Joue Contraste Innocence blush by
Chanel on cheeks, finished with a dusting of Guerlain’s
powder foundation, Lingerie de Peau.
