o Support staff will engage in redeployment <strong>of</strong> their job functions<br />
throughout the course <strong>of</strong> the pandemic or other emergency.<br />
o Of necessity, whenever possible personnel are to limit personal contact<br />
and to communicate by telephone, VPN, or fax should this be required<br />
due to a pandemic emergency.<br />
o During regular business hours, FSU workers/administrators will obtain<br />
from and provide to, those on their caseloads, relevant information<br />
regarding health and welfare concerns for the children in their care. In<br />
the event that children need to be relocated due to medical issues<br />
affecting the caretakers, workers will contact the Child Placement<br />
Unit, which will maintain a list <strong>of</strong> emergency placements in the event<br />
that children need to be relocated.<br />

JUVENILE CORRECTIONAL SERVICES (consistent with essential functions<br />
3,4):<br />
The Training School (<strong>RI</strong>TS) and Juvenile Probation serve to ensure both public safety<br />
and child safety are protected.<br />
TRAINING SCHOOL<br />
The unique situation <strong>of</strong> the <strong>RI</strong>TS as a self-contained entity enables it to function in a<br />
limited capacity.<br />
o Maintain a healthy and safe environment and to protect the occupational health<br />
and safety <strong>of</strong> all employees and residents, all existing policies and procedures will<br />
