Thelabial palps curve upward in the front of head and are rather blunt at the tip.Plodia interpunctella (Hubner)The fore-wing of adult is cream coloured in the basal two-fifth, while rest of the wing iscopper coloured (dark reddish brown) with some dark grey markings. The wing span is 14-18 mm.And the labial palps point directly forwards.Corcyra cephalonica (Stainton) – Rice MothIn the adults the hind-wings are pale buff, and the fore-wings are mid-brown or greyishbrownwith thin vague lines of a darker brown along the wing veins. The fringes of hairs along thewing margins are relatively short and wing span is usually 15-25 mm.
