The Programme at a GlanceFrom among the large number of postgraduate courses offered by German institutions ofhigher education, the German Aca<strong>de</strong>mic Exchange Service (DAAD) supports a carefully chos<strong>en</strong>selection of programmes of particular interest to junior executives from <strong>de</strong>veloping countries.These <strong>de</strong>gree courses, which consist of one to two years of conc<strong>en</strong>trated study, provi<strong>de</strong>young, aca<strong>de</strong>mically-trained professionals in leading positions from <strong>de</strong>veloping countriesprofession.• Economic Sci<strong>en</strong>ces/ Business Administration/ Political Economics• Developm<strong>en</strong>t Co-operation• Engineering and Related Sci<strong>en</strong>ces• Mathematics• Regional Planning• Agriculture and Forest Sci<strong>en</strong>ces• Environm<strong>en</strong>tal Sci<strong>en</strong>ces• Medicine and Public Health• Veterinary Medicine• Social Sci<strong>en</strong>ces and Education• Media StudiesThis booklet contains the selection of all postgraduate courses supported un<strong>de</strong>r the DAADfunding scheme “Developm<strong>en</strong>t-Related Postgraduate Courses”.An annually updated list of all postgraduate courses in the DAAD programme is also availableon the internet: http://www.daad.<strong>de</strong>/astThe courses are op<strong>en</strong> to all eligible candidates. Applications are welcomed from professionals-sations.In addition, a limited number of full and partial DAAD scholarships are available.
