In addition to the courses,a one-week excursion to business promotion and <strong>de</strong>velopm<strong>en</strong>t cooperationinstitutions in Germany will take place at the beginning of thesecond semester.on an investigation in one of the most relevant topics of SME <strong>de</strong>velopm<strong>en</strong>t.A member of our faculty serves as thesis supervisor and helps tomaintain rigor and continuity during the whole process. Every participantwill carry out his/her research project in conjunction with antry.During this time empirical data collection takes place.Back in Germany for the last semester, the stu<strong>de</strong>nts will evaluate,pres<strong>en</strong>t and discuss their research results. At the <strong>en</strong>d of this process,they will hand in their Master’s thesis docum<strong>en</strong>ting their researchresults.The Master’s programme targets upcoming professionals andresource persons with practical experi<strong>en</strong>ce in promoting and/ormanaging small and medium-sized <strong>en</strong>terprises.German and foreign graduates with <strong>de</strong>grees in subjects such as economics,business managem<strong>en</strong>t, geography, law, politics, administrationand related areas can apply.English• qualifying <strong>de</strong>gree; viz. a university <strong>de</strong>gree at Bachelor level in economics,business, social, natural or <strong>en</strong>gineering sci<strong>en</strong>ces or anequival<strong>en</strong>t <strong>de</strong>gree from a r<strong>en</strong>owned university after a minimum of4 years of study;• Broad knowledge of economic issues;• At least 2 years of relevant work experi<strong>en</strong>ce;• Flu<strong>en</strong>t spok<strong>en</strong> and writt<strong>en</strong> English (TOEFL (PBT 550, CBT 213, iBT79-80 points) or IELTS (minimum 6.0));• Writt<strong>en</strong> application;• Chinese, Vietnamese and Mongolian applicants are required to sub-must proceed through the German embassy.Master of Business Administration in Small and Medium-Sized EnterpriseDevelopm<strong>en</strong>t (MBA in Small and Medium-Sized EnterpriseDevelopm<strong>en</strong>t)16
