WorkshopConclusionsThis workshop is an important learning activity for students to understand theconcept of medical professionalism and proper physician etiquette. It is a venuefor them to learn, internalize and demonstrate their understanding of the issuesfrom discussion of the case study as well as learning from the medical teachers, i.e.the facilitators. It is a hands-on learning experience for students, with respect tointegrating the Islamic values and practicing Islamic culture (such as giving Salam,giving advice and observing good akhlaq, (manners) while dealing with patientsin the case studies. The experience obtained from the workshop would make themmore confident seeing patients and their relatives as they would then be moreknowledgeable in demonstrating professionalism and good etiquette. From theKulliyah’s perspective, this workshop is an important mileage in its continuouscommitment of strengthening the Islamic Input in its Medical Program.FIMA YearBook 200971
