The prediction uses a test called the reliability criterionwhich is equal to one minus the ratio between the "actual weight loss" at a givenmoment, and the end point predicted by the microprocessor. This parameter canbe set to TIGHT, MIDRANGE, or RELAXED depending on the user's desire tobalance speed and accuracy.10.3.2 The END TEST ON RATE criteria will cause the test to end when the sampleweight loss rate has fallen below a threshold value. This is useful for samples thatdo not conform to the standard exponential drying model.10.3.3 The decision of which ending criteria to use is application dependant.
