Problem Solution<br />

All LEDs are off<br />

All <strong>the</strong> <strong>SysKonnect</strong> <strong>Print</strong><br />

<strong>Server</strong>'s LEDs are off.<br />

Red LED is on<br />

<strong>SysKonnect</strong> <strong>Print</strong> <strong>Server</strong>'s red<br />

<strong>Print</strong> server undetected<br />

The <strong>SysKonnect</strong> <strong>SK</strong>-<strong>54P1</strong><br />

<strong>802.11g</strong> <strong>Wireless</strong> <strong>Print</strong> <strong>Server</strong><br />

unit can not be found on <strong>the</strong><br />

LAN, so configuration is not<br />

possible.<br />

Check <strong>the</strong> power supply or power connection.<br />

Reset <strong>the</strong> <strong>SysKonnect</strong> <strong>Print</strong> <strong>Server</strong> by unplugging <strong>the</strong><br />

power supply and plugging it back in.<br />

If using <strong>the</strong> wireless interface,<br />

• Ensure that WEP is disabled on your o<strong>the</strong>r wireless<br />

stations.<br />

• If using Ad-hoc mode, it is not possible for wireless<br />

stations <strong>to</strong> connect <strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>SysKonnect</strong> <strong>Print</strong> <strong>Server</strong>,<br />

because its default mode is “Infrastructure”. You<br />

must use <strong>the</strong> wired interface for initial configuration.<br />

• If using Infrastructure mode, ensure that your<br />

access point allows connection by wireless stations<br />

with a SSID of ANY or null (blank).<br />

• The access point itself has a blank (null) SSID.<br />

• If <strong>the</strong>re is a setting Broadcast SSID or Allow<br />

SSID of ANY, this setting should be enabled.<br />

If using <strong>the</strong> wired 10/100Base-T interface:<br />

• Check <strong>the</strong> hub. The link LED for <strong>the</strong> port <strong>to</strong> which<br />

<strong>the</strong> <strong>SysKonnect</strong> <strong>Print</strong> <strong>Server</strong> is connected should be<br />

on. If it is off, <strong>the</strong>re is a problem in <strong>the</strong> network<br />

cable.<br />

Notes:<br />

• To use both <strong>the</strong> <strong>Wireless</strong> and LAN interfaces, <strong>the</strong><br />

wireless mode must be set <strong>to</strong> “Ad-hoc”.<br />

• You must power off <strong>the</strong> <strong>SysKonnect</strong> <strong>Print</strong> <strong>Server</strong><br />

before connecting or disconnecting <strong>the</strong> LAN cable.
