However,serious gaps remain in the integration of its infrastructure provision. At this time the municipality doesnot have an Integrated Service Delivery (ISD) Unit, nor does it have a Comprehensive InfrastructurePlan (CIP) outlining the institutional requirements and financial viability of service delivery at this time.However, it does have a Community Liaison Office tasked with interfacing with the public aroundservice delivery matters and it has initiated the process to engage a service provider to assist in thedevelopment of a CIP for the municipality. It is expected that such a plan will be adopted by Council overthe new term. For the time being, IYLM takes an issue-to-issue approach to addressing its servicedelivery backlogs and challenges. The following is an overview of the municipality’s status quo in thisregard.57
