A copy of thedeclaration of interest is included in thepapers for each meeting of the Councilof Governors which are available on theTrust’s website and can be inspected byarrangement with the Trust Secretary.Executive and non-executive directorsattend the public meetings of the Councilof Governors both to report on mattersand take questions from the governorsand to develop a deeper understandingof the views of governors and members.Governors also attend the publicmeetings of the Board of Directors andhave the opportunity to ask questionsof the Board of Directors at the end ofthese meetings. The Council of Governorsand Board of Directors also have jointseminars to consider and discuss issuesof concern to the directors and governors.The Council of Governors met seventimes in 2012/13 and attendance atthese meetings is set out in the table (onnext page). Against each name is shownthe number of meetings of the Councilof Governors at which the governor ordirector was present and in brackets thenumber of meetings that the governoror director was eligible to attend during2012/13.
