The TualatinRiver is schematized as a two-branch network with 12tributary inflows and 1 diversion. A dischargehydrograph from observed data at the USGS streamgagingstation on the Tualatin River near Dilley(14203500) at RM 58.8 was used as the upstreamboundary input. Subbasin hydrographs for tributarybasins shown on figure 19 were simulated by PRMSmodeling and input to the Willamette WDM file.Figure 20 shows results of routing the input flow57.0 miles downstream, where it can be compared toobserved flow at the Tualatin River at West Linnstream-gaging station (14207500). Statistical results for calibration andverification time periods are shown in table 12. Theabsolute errors of 16.6 and 18.7 percent for calibrationand verification periods, respectively, are within theexpected accuracy for simulation when such a largepart of the basin is simulated by rainfall-runoff modeling.The network modeling bias error was almost zero.Henry Hagg Lake provides irrigation water and flowaugmentation in the summer, increasing flows from anaverage of about 30 ft 3 /s to 100–300 ft 3 /s. Low-flowsimulations are unsatisfactory because no attempt wasmade to account for summertime irrigation withdrawals.Water-use information (Broad and Collins, 1996)indicate that the annual 1990 consumption of water in41
