Upon action by the committee, the Associate Dean will send a letter notifying theapplicant of its decision. At that point, the admitted student must provide to the Doctor ofMinistry office documentation of approval and a Covenant of Support for participation inthe program from the student’s place of ministry.Each admitted student must also complete a University Health form prior to registration.McAfee School of Theology accepts applications from all denominations providedthey fall within the above guidelines. McAfee does not discriminate according to gender,age, ethnic origin, or race. Candidates with special needs must comply with MercerUniversity’s policy on special needs.TuitionCompare the cost of theological education with costs at other seminaries and divinityschools and you will be surprised at the affordability of a McAfee education. MercerUniversity, supporting churches, and our educational partners are making a significantcommitment to underwrite much of the cost of studying at the McAfee School of Theology.In fact, every student at McAfee receives significant financial assistance which bringsdown the tuition to well below the national average for ATS accredited schools. ForMasters students, the Mercer Theology Study Grant covers the majority of the student’stuition. The masters level tuition rate is $315.00 per credit hour for Baptist students and$335.00 per credit hour for non-Baptists for 2011-2012.
