YOUR SLING AND RIGGING SPECIALIST<strong>tw<strong>in</strong></strong>-Path ® adjustable bridleThe Tw<strong>in</strong>-Path ® Adjustable Bridle sl<strong>in</strong>g is a multi-purpose rigg<strong>in</strong>g tool and it's important that it is usedproperly. The adjustment r<strong>in</strong>g has a double sl<strong>in</strong>g on one side and a s<strong>in</strong>gle sl<strong>in</strong>g on the other side.If the lift<strong>in</strong>g po<strong>in</strong>ts are an equal distance from thecenter of gravity, then the Tw<strong>in</strong>-Path ® Adjustablecan be hooked-up with the double or s<strong>in</strong>gle sl<strong>in</strong>gon either lift<strong>in</strong>g po<strong>in</strong>t.If the lift<strong>in</strong>g po<strong>in</strong>ts are an equal distance oneither side of the center of gravity but one ishigher, then the double sl<strong>in</strong>g should be attached tothe higher lift<strong>in</strong>g po<strong>in</strong>t.If one of the lift<strong>in</strong>g po<strong>in</strong>ts is closer to the center ofgravity, then attach the double sl<strong>in</strong>g to this lift<strong>in</strong>gpo<strong>in</strong>t. It will have the highest weight concentration.If the Tw<strong>in</strong>-Path ® Adjustable is attached so that thes<strong>in</strong>gle sl<strong>in</strong>g is nearest the center of gravity, it willnot allow the lift to be made.Never use the Tw<strong>in</strong>-Path ® Adjustable Bridle <strong>in</strong> situationswhere the sl<strong>in</strong>g-to-hook angle is greaterthan 45°. Always connect above the center ofgravity. If connections are made below the centerof gravity, then the load may turn when lifted.Follow OSHA, ASME B30.9 & Manufacturer’s Guidel<strong>in</strong>es. Sl<strong>in</strong>g can fail if damaged, misused or overloaded. Inspectbefore use. Damaged sl<strong>in</strong>g shall not be used. Use only if tra<strong>in</strong>ed. Do not exceed rated capacity. Protect sl<strong>in</strong>g from! WARNING be<strong>in</strong>g cut by load edges, corners, protrusions & abrasive surfaces.
