(3.6.2.4.3) is the son of Myron B. Bryant and MaryWinnie (Jones) Bryant. Myron was born on November 25, 1932 in Kelsey,Texas. Myron graduated from Gilmer High School in 1949 at the age of sixteenand attended Kilgore Junior College for the fall semester of 1951. Myron joinedthe United States Air Force on February 21, 1952 and served until January 13,1956, attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. From April of 1952, to December of1952, Myron received basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio,Texas and radio maintenance courses at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. He wasstationed in Keesler, Mississippi for three months and was then assigned toKorea for one year. During his Korean service, he was awarded the KoreanService Medal, the United States Service Medal and the National DefenseMedal. After returning from Korea, he was stationed at Scott Air Force Base inIllinois and the remainder of his military service at Barksdale Air Force Base inLouisiana. In the spring of 1956, Myron entered Kilgore College and in the fallof 1956, transferred to Texas A & M where he received a Bachelor of Sciencedegree in 1959. On May 31, 1958, Myron Bryant, Jr. married Linda CarolBallard in Gilmer, Texas. Linda was born on February 27, 1940 in Gilmer,Texas and is the daughter of James Marshall Ballard and Orene (Walters)Ballard. Myron and Linda Bryant are the parents of three children:. . . James Myron Bryant, b. July 4, 1959, Gilmer, Texas. . . Leah Dawn Bryant, b. August 31, 1960, Gilmer, Texas. . . Lisa Diane Bryant, b. December 20, 1965, Gilmer, TexasMyron Bryant began his teaching career at Winona Public schools in 1959 andthen Gilmer High School from 1960 to 1964. In 1965, Myron joined the KilgoreCollege faculty where he currently employed. After attending several summersessions, Myron Bryant received a Masters degree in 1963 also from Texas A &M. He did additional graduate work at Stanford University in 1964, Universityof Oklahoma in 1965, Oklahoma State University in 1966, San Jose StateUniversity in 1968 and University of Montana in 1972 and 1973. Sue graduated from Gilmer High School in 1953. After graduation, Suemoved to Dallas, Texas and worked for the U. S. O. for five years and thenHenger Construction Company for five years and is now employed by thePlumbers and Steamfitters Union Local 100 in Dallas. On August 25, 1956, SueBryant married Harold Eugene Baxter in Kelsey, Texas. Harold was born onApril 6, 1931 in Oceola, Texas and is the son of Lewis Baxter and Ethel Mae(Cacy) Baxter. Harold and Sue Baxter are the parents of two children:
