Jim was born on October 21, 1944 in Olathe, Kansasand is the son of Jerry Waldo Sitton and Mary Dorcus (Green) Sitton. Jim andLinda Sitton are the parents of four children:. . . Her first job was a secretary for theGenealogical Society in Salt Lake City. In 1967, she moved to Dallas, Texasand worked for Republic National Bank where she met her husband. Lindareceived her first church calling, a Primary teacher, when she was twelve yearsold. She has also taught Sunday School, Relief Society and MIA. She has beensecretary of Primary, Junior Sunday School Coordinator, MIA president, ReliefSociety president, Primary counselor and Primary president. Jim has beenYoung Men’s president, Scoutmaster, Bishop’s counselor, teacher and a branchpresident. Because of Jim’s duty in the United States Navy and his occupationas a pilot, Jim and Linda have moved many times. They lived in Maryland,Virginia, Florida and several towns in Texas. Since January of 1984, they havebeen living in Longview, Texas.
