He flew fourteen successful missions the day of the NormandyInvasion. Ellis worked for forty years in the Monsanto plant, beginning as amachinist and retired in 1984 as foreman of the machine shop. In the 1960’s,they bought a farm and built their home, still living there today. On June 20,1962, Elyce Dugger married David Larry Hubbell (born April 14, 1944). Davidand Elyce Hubbell are the parents of four children: - David Larry Hubbell, Jr.,b. May 30, 1963, - Jonathan Darrell Hubbell, b. September 9, 1965, - JacobJackson Hubbell, b. Maston served in the Infantry of theUnited States Army during World War II. He was inducted soon after hegraduated from high school and served until the war ended, serving about fouryears.
