Ed was an Inflight Refueling Technician and served in SoutheastAsia during the Viet Nam war. Ed retired with 25 years of service with the AirForce. Birch retired in June of 1979 with 25 years of Federal Civil Service. On June 1, 1969,Stanton Gregg Blair married Priscilla Fran Hubbard, his high school sweetheart.Priscilla was born on November 7, 1950 in Elk City, Oklahoma and is thedaughter of Frank Hubbard and Zella Mae (Swope) Hubbard. Bernice and Birchattended the Pleasant Valley School for the first eight years of their education.Later, Bernice and Birch attended Elk City High School where they graduated inMay of 1937. In the fall of 1937, Bernice enrolled at Oklahoma A. & M. (namewas later changed to Oklahoma State University) in Stillwater, Oklahoma. OnDecember 31, 1941, Bernice Brooks married Alvin Harold Casey in Elk City,Beckham County, Oklahoma. Harold was born on March 9, 1915 in Kanima,Oklahoma and is the son of Louis Bertie Casey (born 1883 in Arkansas) andFlorence Larue (Shelton) Casey (born 1886 in Arkansas). Bernice completed herrequirements for her degree in January of 1942 and in May of 1942, she receivedher Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics. Harold Casey received hisBachelor of Science from Oklahoma State University in 1941 and then becamean agriculture instructor in Helena, Oklahoma. Harold joined the Navy in Aprilof 1943 and served until February of 1946, attaining the rank of Sr. Lieutenant.
