A 1947 letter fromCornelia (Moore) Redfield states that “Samuel married Charlotte G. Charter.”The book, “Century Review of Maury County, Tennessee,” shows that WilliamDeMoss Bryan’s mother was Charlotte G. (Charter) Bryan. Several familygroup sheets by Martha (Mobley) McGill show that Samuel Bryan marriedCharlotte Greer Charter.According to a 1957 letter from Martha (Mobley) McGill, Charlotte Charter hada sister named, Ellen.
