One method is to add exclude statements to the client options file toprevent the files or directories from being backed up during backup processing.The other method is to add exclude statements to the journal configuration filetsmjbbd.ini, to prevent journal entries from being added for the files ordirectories, which prevents them from being processed during a journal-basedbackup.Journal-based backup is only supported on AIX.Note: There is no correlation between the two exclude statements.
