Either with the initial comm<strong>and</strong> or when HELPdisplays a prompt, you can enter the following parameters.Parameterscomm<strong>and</strong>-name [subcomm<strong>and</strong>-name]Specifies a comm<strong>and</strong> name <strong>and</strong>, optionally, a subcomm<strong>and</strong> name or theirabbreviation, <strong>for</strong> example: backup image, orbi. In this case the combinationshould be unique. Non-unique abbreviations result in the display of the firstsection of the entire help file matching the abbreviation. This parameter isoptional.option nameSpecifies the name of an option, <strong>for</strong> example: domain or do. This parameter isoptional.TOC section numberSpecifies a table of contents section number, <strong>for</strong> example: 1.5.3. This parameteris optional.[ANS]message-numberSpecifies a message number with or without its prefix, <strong>for</strong> example: ans1036 or1036. This parameter is optional. The severity code is never necessary. Enteringans1036E will result in a not-found response.Note: Entering arguments not fitting these descriptions can cause unexpectedresults (or no results) to be displayed. Entering more than two arguments willcause rejection of the help request. Where a comm<strong>and</strong> name <strong>and</strong> an option nameare the same, <strong>for</strong> example: incremental (comm<strong>and</strong>) <strong>and</strong> incremental (option), youcan only get help on the option by entering its table-of-contents section number.The requested help text will be displayed in one or more sections, depending onthe number of display lines available in your comm<strong>and</strong> window. When enoughlines have been displayed to fill the display space, or when the end of therequested help text is displayed, you see with a prompt along with instructions <strong>for</strong>what can be entered at that prompt.
