CENSUS RESULTS132.3.1 Type of l<strong>and</strong> usePasture is the most common l<strong>and</strong> use on large scalefarms (234,332 ha). The first section compares theimportance of each crop regardless of whether theyare annual or permanent. The second <strong>and</strong> thirdsection contains a more detailed analysis on Annual<strong>and</strong> Permanent crops respectively.The most important crop in large scale farms, interms of planted area, is Sisal with a planted area 1.2times greater than maize which has the secondhighest planted area.
