CENSUS RESULTS33Orange production is largely concentrated in the in North <strong>and</strong> North East Coast with Manyara having the highest plantedarea (1,017 ha, 77.0%) followed by Tanga (184 ha, (13.9%), Morogoro 942 ha, (3.2%) <strong>and</strong> Dar es Salaam (23 ha, 1.7%).The remaining regions have either very little oranges or none at all, (Chart 2.71).2.6.10 BananaThe total production of bananas was 15,817tonnes.
