Bye-LawsThese bye-laws are made pursuant to Article 17.1 of the Constitution. Subjectto the Constitution, the bye-laws of the Club shall be as stated below.GENERAL1. These bye-laws may be amended from time to time by theManagement Committee. Definitions used in the Constitutionwill also apply in the bye-laws, unless otherwise stated. Article2A.6 of the Constitution shall also apply to the bye-laws with thenecessary modifications.2. The power to enforce these bye-laws shall rest upon the GeneralManager/Secretary of the Club, any member of the ManagementCommittee or any person authorised by the ManagementCommittee, the Management Committee and the Disciplinary Panelreferred to in Article 6 of the Constitution.3. Any decision to be made by the Management Committee under thesebye-laws may be delegated by the Management Committee to aStanding Committee.4. Unless otherwise approved by the Management Committee, theopening hours of the Club shall be 9.00am to 10.00pm.5. All recreational, social and sports facilities and any otheramenities or activities that the Club may provide shall besubject to the opening hours and regulations laid down by the StandingCommittees concerned.6. The Management Committee may, at any time close the facilitiesfor repairs, special functions or competitions as and when the needshould arise. Whenever possible adequate notice of such closureshall be given in the form of a notice on the bulletin board or at theentrance of the Club.7. The Club shall not be liable for loss of or damage to any articlebrought into the Club’s premises by a member or his guest or anyother person.53
