8. The Club shall not be liable for any injury whatsoever or howsoevercaused to a member, his guest or any other person.9. Any member or his guest or any other person breaking or damagingthe property of the Club shall pay to the Club the cost of makinggood the damage. The amount of such cost shall be assessed by theManagement Committee whose decision shall be final.10. No car, motorcycle or bicycle is allowed to park overnight in theClub’s premises unless authorised by the Management Committee.11. Members who park their motor vehicles and bicycles indiscriminatelyin the Club’s premises causing obstruction and inconvenience toother members shall be given a maximum of three warnings. Uponthe third warning, the member shall be liable for disciplinary action.12. No member or his guest or any other person shall take away or bepermitted to take away any property of the Club from the Club’s premises.13. No food or drink other than those served by the Club or anyauthorised caterers may be brought into any part of the premises ofthe Club, unless permission has been granted by the ManagementCommittee or the General Manager/Secretary.14. No member or his guest or any other person shall allow any animalto be brought into the Club’s premises.15. Skateboarding, in-line blading and micro-scootering are not permittedin the Club’s premises.16. Members shall behave in a proper and decent mannerwithin the Club’s premises. Anti-social habits such as spittingand the use of foul language shall not be permitted. Likewise allpersons entering the Club’s premises shall be dressed in a proper manner.Persons in soiled and unkempt clothes and inappropriate footwearor who are dressed in a manner which may cause offence or in anindecent manner shall not be permitted into the Club’s premises.17. No member shall take it upon himself to reprimand anyof the Club’s staff. All complaints shall be directed, in writing,to the General Manager/Secretary. A member who lodges such acomplaint shall give his full name and membership number and shallbe prepared to substantiate the complaint by personally availing54
himself for an inquiry should the need arise. Anonymous complaintswill not be entertained.18. Any approved advertisement of any sponsor may be displayed at theClub only during the period of sponsorship or match/tournament.19. Only members 21 years of age and above have access to the FruitMachines in the Club.20. All employees and contract workers of the Club are not allowed touse the Fruit Machines in the Club or to participate in any game ofchance organised by the Club.21. A Social Member shall not be entitled to any other privileges orfacilities and may only use except indoor games or facilities, such astombola and jackpot machines and such activities, games and foodoutlets as the Management Committee may from time to time decide.CHILDREN UNDER 121. Any child under the age of 12 years shall not be permitted to usethe Club’s facilities unless accompanied or supervised by a PrincipalMember, aTerm Member, a Nominee, a Spouse Member or a SpouseTerm Member who shall be fully responsible for the child’s safetyand behaviour.2. Domestic help or maids may accompany children of members underthe age of 12 to the Club for training but are not allowed to usethe Club facilities.3. Any child, of a Principal Member or of a Term Member or of aNominee, under the age of 12 years must be registered with the Clubas a child dependant and such a child may use the Club’s facilitieswithout payment of a guest fee.4. Any child, of a Principal Member, Term Member or Nominee,between 12 years up to just before 21 years of age mustbe registered as a Junior Member, Child Member or Child Term Memberfailing which such a child may only use the Club’s facilities as aguest and the Bye-laws on guests shall apply to such a child. Sucha child may be registered as a Junior Member only if he satisfies Article5.1(g) of the Constitution.55
