About <strong>the</strong> AETC National Resource Center<br />

The AETC National Resource Center (NRC) provides education and training resources <strong>for</strong> <strong>the</strong> regional<br />

AIDS Education and Training Centers (AETCs) to support <strong>the</strong>ir mission to <strong>of</strong>fer timely, high-quality, state<strong>of</strong>-<strong>the</strong>-art<br />

in<strong>for</strong>mation to healthcare pr<strong>of</strong>essionals working with existing and emerging populations affected<br />

by <strong>HIV</strong>. In partnership with <strong>the</strong> Center <strong>for</strong> <strong>HIV</strong> In<strong>for</strong>mation (CHI), <strong>the</strong> AETC NRC works to identify<br />

and develop in<strong>for</strong>mation on <strong>HIV</strong> care, prevention, and policy through electronic media, including Internet<br />

and CD-ROM. The AETC NRC is administered by <strong>the</strong> François-Xavier Bagnoud (FXB) Center at <strong>the</strong><br />

University <strong>of</strong> Medicine and Dentistry <strong>of</strong> New Jersey. The FXB Center provides clinical care, education and<br />

technical assistance in <strong>the</strong> United States and globally to support capacity development <strong>for</strong> addressing <strong>the</strong><br />

<strong>HIV</strong>/AIDS epidemic.<br />
