Any energy imbalance on-peak or off-peak, that isnot repaid in kind by the Transmission Customer within 30 days following the agreed to timesand conditions stated above shall be billed at the greater of 110% of the Transmission Provider’sincremental cost at the time of occurrence or the current MAPP filed rate for Emergency EnergyInterchange Service. Any energy imbalance, on-peak or off-peak, that is not repaid in kind by theTransmission Provider within 30 days following the agreed to times and conditions stated aboveshall be billed at 90% of the Transmission Provider’s decremental cost.The rate for energy imbalances greater than +1.5% (Transmission Customer receives at thedelivery point(s) more than it scheduled) shall be the greater of 110% of the TransmissionProvider’s incremental cost at the time of occurrence or the current MAPP filed rate forEmergency Energy Interchange Service.Page | 93
SASKPOWER OPEN ACCESS TRANSMISSION TARIFFSCHEDULE 5Operating Reserve - Spinning Reserve ServiceSpinning Reserve Service is needed to serve load immediately in the event of a systemcontingency. Spinning Reserve Service may be provided by generating units that are on-line andloaded at less than maximum output. The Transmission Provider must offer this service when thetransmission service is used to serve load within its Control Area. The Transmission Customermust either purchase this service from the Transmission Provider or make alternative comparablearrangements to satisfy its Spinning Reserve Service obligation. Customers making alternativearrangements will be required to provide Spinning Reserve Service in the amount of 4.67% oftheir reserved capacity for Point to Point Transmission Service or 4.67% of their Network Loadresponsibility for Network Integration Transmission Service. The charges for Spinning ReserveService are set forth below.Rate: $296/MW of Reserved Capacity per month. The weekly, daily and hourly deliverycharges are calculated in the same manner as in Schedule 7 and 8.Page | 94
