SASKPOWER OPEN ACCESS TRANSMISSION TARIFFPoint Transmission Service pursuant to the Tariff. Upon expiry of an UmbrellaAgreement, the Eligible Customer shall submit a new Completed Application forNon-Firm Point-to-Point Transmission Service if the Eligible Customer wishes toreserve Non-Firm Point-to-Point Transmission Service, after which theTransmission Provider shall again offer a standard form Umbrella Agreement tothe Eligible Customer.14.5 Classification of Non-Firm Point-To-Point Transmission Service:Non-Firm Point-To-Point Transmission Service shall be offered under terms andconditions contained in Part II of the Tariff. The Transmission Providerundertakes no obligation under the Tariff to plan its Transmission System in orderto have sufficient capacity for Non-Firm Point-To-Point Transmission Service.Parties requesting Non-Firm Point-To-Point Transmission Service for thetransmission of firm power do so with the full realization that such service issubject to availability and to Curtailment or Interruption under the terms of theTariff. In the event that a Transmission Customer, (including Third-Party Sales bythe Transmission Provider) exceeds its non-firm capacity reservation, theTransmission Customer shall pay to the Transmission Provider the applicableSchedule 8 Charges for the amount of capacity that exceeded the Non-FirmReserve Capacity. Non-Firm Point-To-Point Transmission Service shall includetransmission of energy on an hourly basis and transmission of scheduled shorttermcapacity and energy on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, but not to exceedsix (6) months’ reservation for any one Application, under Schedule 8.Page | 35
SASKPOWER OPEN ACCESS TRANSMISSION TARIFF14.6 Scheduling of Non-Firm Point-To-Point Transmission Service:Schedules for Non-Firm Point-To-Point Transmission Service, other than hourlyNon-Firm Point-to-Point Transmission Service, must be submitted to theTransmission Provider no later than 10:00 a.m. Central Standard Time of the dayprior to commencement of such service. Schedules submitted after 10:00 a.m.Central Standard Time will be accommodated, if practicable. Schedules of energythat is to be delivered must be stated in increments of 1,000 kW per hour (or areasonable increment that is generally accepted in the region and is consistentlyadhered to by the Transmission Provider). Transmission Customers within theTransmission Provider's service area with multiple requests for TransmissionService at a Point of Receipt, each of which is under 1,000 kW per hour, mayconsolidate their schedules at a common Point of Receipt into units of 1,000 kWper hour. Scheduling changes will be permitted up to twenty (20) minutes (or areasonable time that is generally accepted in the region and is consistently adheredto by the Transmission Provider) before the start of the next clock hour providedthat the Delivering Party and Receiving Party also agree to the schedulemodification. The Transmission Provider will furnish to the Delivering Party'ssystem operator, hour-to-hour schedules equal to those furnished by the ReceivingParty (unless reduced for losses) and shall deliver the capacity and energyprovided by such schedules. Should the Transmission Customer, Delivering Partyor Receiving Party revise or terminate any schedule, such party shall immediatelynotify the Transmission Provider, and the Transmission Provider shall have thePage | 36
