<strong>SASKPOWER</strong> <strong>OPEN</strong> <strong>ACCESS</strong> <strong>TRANSMISSION</strong> <strong>TARIFF</strong>35.2 Network Operating Agreement: The terms and conditions under which theNetwork Customer shall operate its facilities and the technical and operationalmatters associated with the implementation of Part III of the Tariff shall bespecified in the Network Operating Agreement. The Network OperatingAgreement shall provide for the Parties to: (i) operate and maintain equipmentnecessary for integrating the Network Customer within the TransmissionProvider's Transmission System (including, but not limited to, remote terminalunits, metering, communications equipment and relaying equipment); (ii) transferdata between the Transmission Provider and the Network Customer (including,but not limited to, heat rates and operational characteristics of NetworkResources, generation schedules for units outside the Transmission Provider'sTransmission System, interchange schedules, unit outputs for redispatch requiredunder Section 33, voltage schedules, loss factors and other real time data); (iii) usesoftware programs required for data links and constraint dispatching; (iv)exchange data on forecasted loads and resources necessary for long-termplanning; and (v) address any other technical and operational considerationsrequired for implementation of Part III of the Tariff, including schedulingprotocols. The Network Operating Agreement will recognize that the NetworkCustomer shall either: (i) operate as a Control Area under applicable guidelines ofthe North American Electric Reliability Council (NERC) and MAPP; (ii) satisfyits Control Area requirements, including all necessary Ancillary Services, bycontracting with the Transmission Provider; or (iii) satisfy its Control Arearequirements, including all necessary Ancillary Services, by contracting withPage | 86
