<strong>SASKPOWER</strong> <strong>OPEN</strong> <strong>ACCESS</strong> <strong>TRANSMISSION</strong> <strong>TARIFF</strong>designated loads will be provided pursuant to the applicable terms and conditions of PartII of the Tariff.28 Nature of Network Integration Transmission Service28.1 Scope of Service:Network Integration Transmission Service is a transmission service that allowsNetwork Customers to efficiently and economically utilize their NetworkResources (as well as other non-designated generation resources) to serve theirNetwork Load located in the Transmission Provider's Control Area and anyadditional load that may be designated pursuant to Section 31.3 of the Tariff. TheNetwork Customer taking Network Integration Transmission Service must obtainor provide Ancillary Services pursuant to Section 3.28.2 Transmission Provider Responsibilities:The Transmission Provider will plan, construct, operate and maintain itsTransmission System in accordance with Good Utility Practice in order to providethe Network Customer with Network Integration Transmission Service over theTransmission Provider's Transmission System. The Transmission Provider, onbehalf of its Domestic Load Customers, shall be required to designate resourcesand loads in the same manner as any Network Customer under Part III of thisTariff. This information must be consistent with the information used by theTransmission Provider to calculate available transmission capability. TheTransmission Provider shall include the Network Customer's Network Load in itsTransmission System planning and shall, consistent with Good Utility Practice,Page | 64
