<strong>SASKPOWER</strong> <strong>OPEN</strong> <strong>ACCESS</strong> <strong>TRANSMISSION</strong> <strong>TARIFF</strong>9. Maintenance of Facilities9.1. The Network Operating Committee shall establish procedures to coordinate themaintenance schedules of the generating resources and transmission and substationfacilities, to the greatest extent practical, to ensure sufficient transmission resources areavailable to maintain system reliability and reliability of service. By [insert date] of eachyear, the Transmission Customer shall provide to SaskPower the maintenance schedulesand planned outages of each Network Resource for the next year and update theinformation at least thirty (30) days in advance of the date specified for the forecastedmaintenance outage. Such information shall include, but not be limited to, the expectedtime the unit will be separated from the system and the time at which the unit is availablefor:(a)(b)(c)Synchronizing parallel operation;Loading; andIf applicable, to be put on automatic generation control.9.2. The Transmission Customer shall obtain:(a)(b)Concurrence from SaskPower, at least seventy-two (72) hours before beginningany scheduled maintenance of its facilities; andClearance from SaskPower when the Transmission Customer is ready to beginmaintenance on a Network Resource, transmission line, or substation (operated at____ kilovolt and above).The Transmission Customer shall immediately notify SaskPower at the time whenunscheduled or forced outages end. The Transmission Customer shall notify andcoordinate with SaskPower prior to re-paralleling the Network Resource, transmissionline, or substation.9.3. Maintenance schedules will be posted on an electronic bulletin board.10. Load Shedding10.1. The Parties shall implement load shedding programs to maintain the reliability andintegrity as provided in Section 29 of the Tariff. Load shedding shall include:(a)(b)(c)Automatic load shedding;Manual load shedding; andRotating interruption of customer load.SaskPower will order load shedding to maintain the relative sizes of load served, unlessotherwise required by circumstances beyond the control of SaskPower or thePage | 129
