<strong>SASKPOWER</strong> <strong>OPEN</strong> <strong>ACCESS</strong> <strong>TRANSMISSION</strong> <strong>TARIFF</strong>Load must be made through a modification of service pursuant to a newApplication. The Transmission Provider will use due diligence to install anytransmission facilities required to interconnect a new Network Load designated bythe Network Customer. The costs of new facilities required to interconnect a newNetwork Load shall be determined in accordance with the procedures provided inSection 32.4 and shall be charged to the Network Customer in accordance withlaw or policy governing the Transmission Provider.31.3 Network Load Not Physically Interconnected with the TransmissionProvider:This section applies to both initial designation pursuant to Section 31.1 and thesubsequent addition of new Network Load not physically interconnected with theTransmission Provider. To the extent that the Network Customer desires to obtaintransmission service for a load outside the Transmission Provider's TransmissionSystem, the Network Customer shall have the option of: (i) electing to include theentire load as Network Load for all purposes under Part III of the Tariff anddesignating Network Resources in connection with such additional Network Load;or (ii) excluding that entire load from its Network Load and purchasing Point-To-Point Transmission Service under Part II of the Tariff. To the extent that theNetwork Customer gives notice of its intent to add a new Network Load as part ofits Network Load pursuant to this section the request must be made through amodification of service pursuant to a new Application.Page | 75
