LightingLighting of your chosen green or blue backdrop is extremely important; the more even the lighting on thebackdrop the better the finished result. Lighting setups for the foreground subject will vary according to theeffect that you want. For chroma keying backdrops even lighting with no hotspots or shadow areas is theaim. This is easiest to achieve with a set up something like this:In the diagram you will see we recommend a minimum of 1m between subject and backdrop. It is alwayseasier to get more even lighting if the subject is further away from the backdrop. The foreground lighting onthe subject will obviously vary according to the effect that you are looking for and as long as the backdrop isevenly lit this should not be a problem.Control Panel Button Groups usedTo Chroma Key with an input source the following button groups are used on the SE-3000 Control Panel.Key 1 and Key 2 Buttons – These 2 keyingchannels can be used with typical Green or Bluescreen set ups. The selected button or keyer thatyou are working with will be backlit Green.The Chroma button in Keyer Controls is usedto define the type of key set up. For example ifyou wanted to Luma key then you would choosethe Luma button instead.
