A torquewrench is most accurate from 25 percent to 75 percent of its stated range. A torque wrench with a stated range of 0 to100 will be most accurate from 25 to 75 foot-pounds. The accuracy of readings will decrease as you approach 0 footpoundsor 100 foot-pounds. The ranges in Table H-3 are based on this principle.H-3
